Day 2- Woke up early in the morning, waiting for baby Ainsley come over, nurses will bring baby over almost every 3 hours. WH can bring her over from nursery too but sometimes we just wait for the nurse. Most of the time she is sleeping, is fun to play with her when she’s awake. Every little expression, smile and movement of her is so cute! How can I don’t love this little baby, she’s been in my tummy for the past 9 months and finally holding her in my arms. She looks hungry all the time when she come over, got to latch her on. But really not sure whether she is getting enough not.
Doctor came over in the morning to check on me. The Paediatrician also came over after his check up for baby. Consultant from the hospital also came over for information sharing on taking care of baby and breastfeeding.
Finally can have some light meals after whole day not eating. Don’t feel hungry, but it’s nice to able to taste the food again. The wound is still painful, even just to move myself up for food or feeding. But still have to endure with it. Doctor had mentioned I have to get down from bed before I can be discharge.
Day 3 – after nurses remove all the tubes, I can get down from bed. Never find it walking is so difficult. It takes so long to move my body and get down. Every step is painful and have to walk very slowly. Walk slowly around the hospital, after all have been laying on the bed for last few days.
Paediatrician came over and mentioned baby has slight jaundice, thus she will be undergoing phototherapy.
Evening, my friends came over to visit me and baby. They brought some goodies and gifts too 😊, so nice of them.
Day 4 – discharge day. After packing up, we got to wait for bb’s jaudince report if she ok to discharge. Everything is well, we can finally bring her home.
