Baby Ainsley never failed to amaze me, seeing her growing up everyday is the most precious moment in life. She’s getting more and more perfect on flipping. Other than that, she exploring her fingers and putting her finger into her mouth! We do not let her wear mitten anymore after 3 months old. Her finger nail grow so fast and she scratch her face, OMG! Luckily baby recover very fast, next day the scratch no longer seen.
Her hair was not cut ever since born, it has grown so long that we decided to cut her hair during this month too. Her dad helps to cut and I was tasked to hold her. Hmmm, as expected she wasn’t that cooperating, end up wasn’t that nice. Hahaha, probably we send her to hair stylist next round when her hair grow longer.
We had the 3rd month follow up again, WH was on business trip, thus only me & mil brought her over. The waiting time is longer on Sat even we reached earlier than appointment time. She’s getting hungrier and making noise while waiting. Wanna go to the nursing room but it’s occupied, only one nursing room saw. We brought the nursing cover everytime when bringing her out. Thus decided to nurse under the nursing cover. She was so excited when I put on the nursing cover. Feeling much better after the milk and she fall asleep -_-||| Her weighted at 6.87kg, 61cm.
On the nurse room, she was half asleep. Nurse advise should avoid feeding her 30 minutes before and after the injection, She was feed with rotavirus, follow by the 2 jab. Nurse is very skilful, 2 jab in split second. She did cry, ouch, must be painful! But our brave gal only need to hug hug awhile then ok already. Nurse gave us the paracetamol suppository in case she developed fever. While we waiting for our turn, we saw other older kid was yelling, crying non-stop lo. Even putting them on the weight scale also cry very loudly. I hope our gal always stay cool, haha.. Even on her very first few day in nursery, she is the quiet one while other babies keep crying. Doctor examined her and mentioned that her weight is over 90 percentile, which is very high lo. She also ask her to observe her as she did not response to the bell sound. Hmm, we try at home before, she sometimes response, sometimes not. She response more on seeing things around her. Hopefully next visit is fine.
She was active and her usual self for the day but I feel her body become warm in the night. It makes me worry, we use the thermometer and indicate she has slight fever. We try to use koolfever first, but after use also didn’t help. End up, we try to give her the paracetamol syrup, but she vomit out with milk. She seems ok and sleepy. But I’m still worry as her body still feel hot. We try sponge her too where her temperature went down. keep observe and monitor her every 2,3 hours. However her temperature went up again, give her second dose of paracetamol, she vomit out again! Haiz, since she not drinking water, we can only feed her more breastmilk. Next day morning, she is finally well. Relieved! Finally. It’s such heart pain to see her suffer. Being parent, even though tire also need to make sure is well, cant sleep well for whole night. Hopefully no need to go through this again.
Baby Ainsley is a happy gal, I love her smile and her little dimple. But she very naughty, always don’t smile at camera. She can even laugh out loud now. It’s a lot fun to spend the day with her. Gonna miss her a lot since I be starting work soon. Probably less updated later on, but will try capture her growth through camera everyday. I have open the instagram to post her photo and video too.
