It has been quite sometimes I have not update here. My daily life is busy with the same schedule over and over again.
My baby girl has become more active and responsive nowadays. She growing taller, heavier, but she’s still mummy’s dearest baby.
Ever since she start walking, she walk even more faster.Well, sometimes she falls down when cant get her balance. And bruises, bleeding. thus i have no chance but to let her wear long pants whenever we bring her out and put her shoes on.
She got own preference nowadays, and she will point to you the thing she want and expect you to get for her. If she can’t get it, she will start crying. Where is my cheerful little girl? She doesn’t usually cry when she was still a baby. Now seems like everyday. Especially when we don’t provide what she want. Only certain time we will stop her from doing so.
I guess we pretty much let her try anything she want if this is safe. However, certain things i think we should never let her do, we will prevent her from doing so. Freedom with restriction, haha.
Just yesterday, after feeding her porridge. She insists to join us on the dining table. she request me to let her sit on my lap. then she was taking my fork and spoon trying to self-feed. MIL offer her her own utensil. I help her pre-load to food, and she can feed herself.
After awhile, she don’t feel like eating. Then she start feeding me and follow by using her hand to take the food from the plate and offer to her grandma. And she so happy that she keep doing that, even grandma say enough, still continue. And I have to get daddy to bring her to the kitchen to wash her hand to stop her actions. Perhaps we should let her join for dinner together.
She started formula as my supply drop drastically. She was well-fed but recently start rejecting formula as well, she would drink very little. But so far she been eating well. Night time latch still goes on, as she wanna get close with mummy. I suppose she don’t want us to spend so much on formula milk and she still prefer mummy’s milk? Anyway, she likes to explore different kind of food. As long not too oily, salty, sugary, we slowly introduce to her. She likes baguette and other bread. I believe in moderation. And we should slowly educate her what is good for her and avoid junk food appear in our house. Eventually she will get to know more or more and get to try more stuff.
Prior to her delivery, we have friends advising us to register for the childcare early. Well, I just listen and started to look for it after she one year old. I thought we just got to call the centre.. but some centre advise us to register on ECDA. So that’s lot of information scattered around and I didn’t know we can actually register early but put a later date. Anyway, the one we interested just next to our block is fully booked! Even though we plan to send her after she 2 years old, but seems like things won’t go according to our plan.
We been doing childcare visiting for the past few months. There are two which is not air-condition, while the other two air-condition. Some say non air-condition will be less spreading of viruses. But we find ourselves keep sweating once step in to the non air-conditioned childcare center. And my baby sweat even more. We only managed to get one vacant on one of center which we have not visited. Will decide after we visited the center.
