After a night of good rest, we started off with the Burger King breakfast, cuz Burger King was just next door. Not much difference taste compare with Singapore.
Thereafter we walk to the nearest station to take Metro to Shinjuku, bought the Fuji Hakone 3Day Free Pass from Odakyu sightseeing center at Shinjuku West, for details of location and the pass, please refer to their website. The free pass cost 8000 yen per adult, kids below 6 years old is free of charge. Do note that you will need to indicate the travel date and also pre-book the returning bus to Shinjuku.
Our first destination it’s the Meiji Shrine, quite big area. But the kids getting bored, thus we didn’t stay for long and go to next destination.
After purchase the pass, we walk over to the JR line to Harajuku. It was just few minutes ride but cost 140 Yen. We will suppose to walk through the Takeshita Street, but we saw the Gap shop, weather was hot and Ainsley fall asleep. We decided to visit Gap first instead. The shop was having discount, we forgot to bring Ainsley’s jacket with us also, so we spend sometime and manage to get a hoodie for her and tops for myself.
Note: spending more than 5000 yen entitled for tax refund, do bring your passport along as shop. Japan tax is 8%.
Happily done our first shopping, we decided to continue to walk the Takeshita street, a lot of cute shops around, we stopped by the Crepes stall to get some crepes too. It’s noon time, so we decide to find a place for our lunch. After some walking, we decided to settle at the Cafe. So much cute stuff, Ainsley might like it. Haha, turn out she didn’t enjoy much.
We spend some time walking along omotesando Hills and proceed to Shibuya. And had our early dinner at Ippudo ramen. Very nice. We shall go back again or Ichiran next time.
